Configuring Sennheiser Headsets on 3CX

This guide takes you through the steps required to configure your Sennheiser headset to work with the 3CX Web Client. Using a Sennheiser headset you can start, end, answer, redial or reject calls, manage the volume and mute the microphone. You can find more support info on the Sennheiser website.

Download the Sennheiser Software

  1. Download for:
  1. Run the setup to install Sennheiser HeadSetup Pro on your PC or Mac.
  2. Restart your PC or Mac to apply the configuration changes
  3. Verify that your Sennheiser headset is connected and set as the default for audio input and output on:
  • Windows“Control Panel” > “Sound”.
  • Mac“System Preferences” > “Sound”.

Configure the 3CX Web Client

Depending on your specific model, you can integrate the Sennheiser headset’s answer, end call and volume functions with the 3CX Web Client:

  1. In 3CX Web Client, go to “Settings” > “Other Options” > “Use headset integration” and select “Sennheiser”.
  2. Verify that your specific model was detected and displayed.

You can now use your Sennheiser device to manage calls through the 3CX Web Client.

Update Sennheiser Software on Windows

Use the Sennheiser updater to ensure that your device is updated with the latest software:

  1. Download Sennheiser Updater – select either the “End User” or “IT admin/Deployment” version.
  2. Run the setup to install Sennheiser Updater on your PC and launch it.
  3. To check for available updates, select “Options” > “Check for updates” and follow the on-screen instructions to update the software for your device.
